Pardosa? => Alopecosa pulverulenta
« on: May 16, 2020, 02:38:33 PM »

Thank you.
Found another piece but difficult material to get good photos from. Does this make it possible to ID species?

The second one is undoubtedly Alopecosa pulverulenta, but I am not sure about the first one (septum seems narrow, even if habitus fits)

It is from the same animal, just different parts, it got seperated when i was cutting out the epigyne.  So then it must be A. pulverulenta. Thanks.

I think I understand what has happened - it must have been a subadult specimen close to its last moult and the first photos show the preepigyne while the additional one shows the almost fully developed epigyne underneath (still translucent and not fully sclerotised yet)
