Thorell' s types
« on: November 30, 2017, 04:32:29 PM »
Hello all! I have a question about Thorell' s types: where are they deposited? What part of them is extant? Is any information (database etc) available online or otherwise public?
The specific specimens that are of interest are the types of the two Dasumia species described by him, and more asking of curiosity about this one, Philodromus dilutus.
Many thanks,

I do not know if I fully understand. There are two articles that Thorell wrote about Philodromus dilutus:

Thorell, T. (1875b). Verzeichniss Südrussischer Spinnen. Horae Societatis Entomologicae Rossicae 11: 39-122. download pdf - show included taxa

Thorell, T. (1875c). Descriptions of several European and North African spiders. Attachment to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences's Documents 13 (5): 1-203. download pdf
You can download the articles by logging into the "World Spider Catalog" where you can download the articles.

Where the spiders are today, I do not know, but maybe
