I would like to add that Philodromus cespitum and Philodromus collinus sometimes have aberrant specimens with brown abdomen sides and an uniformly yellow-bronze dorsum (like this), and then, in collinus, the legs are especially dark brown. The legs in this cespitum morph are usually normal, maybe only slightly darker distally

Males:
Philodromus aureolus: colour, strongly iridescent on both abdomen and cephalothorax, in green and purple. Sometimes has its lateral white spots on abdomen retained. Cephalothorax, sometimes but not always with a longitudinal dark line. Legs, robust, yellowish brown, almost without annulations. Palps, characteristically broad.

Philodromus cespitum: colour, silverish on abdomen and reddish on both cephalothorax and legs. This habitus is very characteristic. Legs, sometimes retaining the more or less indistinct annulations from earlier stages

Philodromus collinus: strongly iridescent like Philodromus aureolus, but a bit darker, usually smaller and more elegant. Legs, like in aureolus but thinner and somewhat darker. Palps are also narrower.

Philodromus praedatus: colour, brownish, only weakly iridescent on both segments. The juvenile markings like the cardiac mark and the leg annulations are retained. Cephalothorax, often with a dark longitudinal line. Legs, with distinct annulations.
